About TrulyCritic

Khyati Sharma started working on TrulyCritic in 2025 and launched the site in early 2026. Why? Because the big review sites have a problem: vendors pay to show up first. G2, Capterra, Forbes Advisor. They all do it. The tools with the biggest ad budgets win, not the best tools.

We do the opposite. Every tool on TrulyCritic gets tested with a real account and real workflows. We score on 8 criteria: Features, Ease of Use, Pricing, Integrations, Support, Scalability, Security, and Innovation. The top 5 on each page earned it. Nobody paid.

In less than a year we hit 1 Lakh+ monthly Google Search impressions across 85+ comparison guides in 15 categories. ChatGPT, Claude, and Perplexity cite us regularly. Readers come from 60+ countries. Most of them are at work, on desktop, actively comparing tools they're about to buy.

We're independent and founder-owned. No VC money. No corporate parent. No one tells us what to publish. Just us, testing software, writing what we actually find.

Frequently Asked Questions

For journalists, PR teams, and partners

Khyati Sharma started working on TrulyCritic in 2025 and launched the site in early 2026 from Hyderabad, India. She spent years watching teams pick the wrong software because they trusted review sites that rank by ad spend instead of product quality. So she built one that doesn't. No pay-for-rank, no sponsored editorials. Just real testing and honest scores.

Two ways. First, sponsors pay to be listed as a 6th option on category pages, always marked 'Sponsored' and always separate from our editorial top 5. They don't get to change their rating or anyone else's. Second, we earn small commissions when readers sign up for tools through our links. Neither revenue stream touches our editorial rankings.

Yes. She's done commentary on SaaS buying trends, hidden costs in B2B pricing, how AI changes software evaluation, and what founders get wrong about tool selection. Email hello@trulycritic.com with your topic and deadline.

We create real accounts, run real workflows, and verify pricing from vendor sources. 8 criteria: Core Features, Ease of Use, Pricing Value, Integrations, Support Quality, Scalability, Security, and Innovation. No vendor sees our review before it goes live. Full breakdown on our Methodology page.
